My favorite hobby is picking up new skills to work on new projects! Whether I’m designing an intarsia banner for my band, or learning how to 3D design and print for a custom Furby, I’ll always be a lifelong learner.

Past Projects

Fiber Arts

After two weeks of intensive self-teaching and repair, I was able to make my great-grandmother’s Toyota KS-858 knitting machine work. I now use it to create garments, intarsia, and lace from scratch!

Crocheting, wool felting, macramé, I’ve tried it all and love it!

Other Skills:

Figure drawing

Trained barista and recipe maker

Designing and cutting on a Cricut

Carpentry: using power tools and saws safely

Baker who has gone viral on TikTok for recipes

I taught myself Onshape (CAD) in three days to make a Dragon Furby with articulated wings

Book Binding

In my final semester of college at the University of Nevada, Reno, I interned under Bob Blesse at the Black Rock Press. I love bookbinding and have taught several classes about it at Nevada Fine Arts.

Watercolor
